Salt print of Sebas by siulogramac

This is probably the first time I've included here a work created for another artist. I say created because for me the printing process, the craft of create a Van Dyke, a salt print (and almost all the so called alternative processes) is an art form in its own right.

For other people it can be considered a collaboration in some way, for me it isn't.

This one is a Van Dyke print on Fabriano's paper created for an incredible Colombian artist: Luis Camargo if you have the time you have to take a look to his art. Not only is he an incredible photographer but also he has amazing projects with the community, I specially love his dedication and compromise with education of young people employing pinhole cameras.

Some time ago in FB we contacted each other, we've not met in person yet but he had the incredible gesture of create this awesome print of my nephew Sebastián Alejandro from one of my portraits of the little rascal.

I can't be more happy and thankful of this gesture.

Here you can find links to Luis portfolio and FB page.
